  • Eat Grilled Ribs To Support Thespia

    On Thursday, July 5th, Thespian Troupe 417 will be hosting our second (and final!) Ribfest of the summer, in the Quillin's parking lot! Whole racks of fresh, grilled ribs will be for sale for $10 each. Or, buy them uncooked and grill for yourself this summer. All racks come vacuum sealed and are pre-cooked, so all you have to do is throw them on the grill, heat through and enjoy! Thespians will also be selling: soda, water, monster cookies, ice cream sundaes, root beer floats and chips. All proceeds go to support troupe activities and honors for 2018-19.

  • Seniors Get Free Pictures

    Professional pictures taken of individuals from the graduation ceremony by Blakers are available to be picked up in the High School office.  These pictures were donated to the seniors, and thus are free for the seniors to have. There is a picture for every senior that graduated.

  • Eat Grilled Ribs To Support Thespia

    On Thursday, May 31st, from 11am to 6pm, Postville's Thespian Troupe 417 will be grilling whole racks of ribs for $10 in the Quillin's parking lot. Soda, water, chips, monster cookies, root beer floats and ice cream treats will also be for sale. Proceeds will go to support troupe activities, awards and honors for the 2018-2019 school year.

  • Free Dental Care for Students

    I-Smile will be coming to see 2nd, 3rd, 6th, and 7th grade students this fall. Dental Hygienist with I-Smile, Celeste, will come talk to these grades about dental health and hygiene in September, and then will return the week of October 29 - November 2 to do a sealant clinic for those grades. This a FREE service that your student may receive with a signed permission form. There is NO CHARGE. Permission forms will be available at registration.   • Required Immunizations Offered At S

    The Allamakee Co. Public Health Nurse will be at Postville on May 15th to give the required Meningococcal vaccine to 6th and 11th grade students, and also the required TDaP booster for 6th grade students. These are required immunizations for incoming 7th and 12th graders. If they are not received before the start of 2018-2019 school year, the student will not be able to begin school in the fall. Permission forms need to be returned to the nurse by May 10.

    Mrs. Combs applied for the 2015-16 McElroy Grant and was awarded $1612.00 towards her Reviving Folk Art Class!! There were 43 grants requesting approximately $73,499.00 submitted from Keystone AEA 1 teachers; however $31,614.00 was the amount to be awarded.
