Ms. Norby began her teaching career in 2013 after earning her Bachelor’s degree in English and Secondary Education from Upper Iowa University. She spent ten years teaching high school English before expanding her role in education. In 2020, she earned her ESL endorsement, and in 2023, she completed her Master’s in Education.

Now serving as the At-Risk Instructor at Rise Academy, Ms. Norby is excited to support students on an alternative path to earning their high school diploma. She looks forward to building strong relationships with students and helping them overcome challenges to reach their goals.
